SID SHANNON co-sponsored the initial launch of The Belfast Review Magazine in 2023, and is an avid patron of the arts, humanitarian, father of two, bookworm, California resident, and practitioner of kindness. His people come from County Clare and Derry/Londonderry.

Editor in Chief / Co-Founder

HANNA NIELSON is a writer-editor-filmmaker in Belfast who works as Freelance Editor for small presses, journals, and authors in Northern Ireland and beyond. Recent works in The Ogham Stone, The Honest Ulsterman, Roi Fainéant, and more. MA Creative Writing (U Leeds); BA Cinema and Literature (U Iowa); attended Iowa Writers' Workshop and Iowa Playwrights' Workshop. She has worked as a documentary filmmaker, writes screenplays and holds film festival awards. She has several years experience mentoring and coaching creatives in film and publishing, and working with nonprofits. Currently she is querying two novels, and seeking representation for her screenplays.
